How a claim works
Open the claim
Use the order page before the deadline and explain the problem.
Seller responds
The seller has three days to respond and may offer a refund or return.
Provide evidence
Add clear photos, documents, tracking, or other relevant details.
Cardtrol decides
We may require a tracked return before issuing an eligible refund.
Refunds, returns, and appeals
Approved refunds can include the eligible item price and original shipping, up to the amount paid through Cardtrol. A return may be required and must use the provided instructions and tracking. Refund timing after approval depends on the original payment method.
Buyers and sellers may submit one appeal within 30 days of a decision when they have material new information. Filing a chargeback while a claim is active may pause or close Cardtrol's review to prevent duplicate recovery.
This guarantee is provided by Cardtrol, applies only to eligible purchases made after its effective launch, and does not limit rights provided by applicable law. Cardtrol may request evidence, deny abusive claims, suspend accounts, or recover losses caused by fraud.
